Brighton based Crowns on the Rats Orchestra played a stunning set for Kiss My Face Music at Cheltenham Town Hall as part of Walk the Line Festival 2009. The band is an ongoing collaboration between friends; each with different talents for, experiences of, and perspectives on music.

Elements of classical tenderness, punk ethics, post-rock grandiosity, folk harmonies and the structural complexities of hardcore perennially stalk the background – though it is through the shared desire to create an original, striking, and emotionally honest take on the traditions of romantic music that COTRO’s more chaotic components are fused.
